Gate 2019- Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an examination conducted jointly by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore and the Seven Indian Institutes of Technology (at Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras and Roorkee). GATE 2019 Notification has been out by IIT Madras. This year GATE 2019 will be organized by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras.
As you all know that the GATE is organized in various Indian Science Institutes and IITs for engineering, technology, architecture and other branches and for admission in the Doctoral Program directly. Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering(Gate) 2019 is the entrance test to be held at All India level, which makes a path for graduates and postgraduate candidates in engineering,technology,architecture, to acquire higher education. Gate score Card determines the candidate’s candidature for admission from any institute to a job based on his performance of a candidate.

Based on the GATE 2019 Score, admission in post-graduate programs, such as ME,M.Tech,Direct PhD, is available in central funded Indian institutions of higher education. Through this examination, admission in prestigious engineering institutes of the country like IIT, IISc, NIT etc. is available. Indian Institute of Science and seven Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) jointly operate Gate in Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras and Roorkee.
Every year, all seven IITs and IISCs, ie one of the eight, organize this examination. Gate-2019 is organized by IIT Madras. Gate’s score remains valid for three years. There is no limit to the number of its efforts.
Gate 2019 Notification
GATE 2019 notification has been out for GATE examination 2019 schedule. According to theGate 2019 Official notification in next year it will be organized on 2,3,9 and 10th February 2019 during which 24 subjects will be examined online. Its score will remain valid for three years. This year Gate’s result was done by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati on March 16. The examination took place on 3,4,10 and 11 February. With a total of 959 points in Agricultural Engineering Paper, Jyoti Ranjan Banik had achieved All India Rank 1.
Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras has issued Graduate Aptitude Test (GATE) 2019 notification. Exam date of GATE has also been released. The examination will take place in two sessions, from 9 am to 12 pm and from 2 pm to 5 pm. GATE 2019 exam will be computer-based.
Statistics is added as a new topic: another topic has been added in this year’s examination. Instead of 23 subjects, the exam will now be in 24 subjects. Newly added topic is Statistics.

Gate 2019 Application Form
Application forms for GATE 2019 will be available from September 1: Applications will be issued on 1 September 2018. The last date for application will be September 21, which can be extended by October 1. Admit card for the examination will be released on January 4, 2019. The results will be announced on March 16, 2019.

Gate 2019 Application Form Fee
Application fee of Gate 2019 for women, SC/ST candidates is Rs. 750, while it is Rs. 1500 for other candidates. Application fees can be paid in either online or offline mode. After saving the application, the candidates can pay by Net Banking, Debit Card and Credit Card. After paying the gate 2019 application fee, a fee payment number will be generated.

Gate 2019 Eligibility Criteria
Before registering it, all the gate candidates are advised to check their qualifications. They can apply for only 1 paper in the gate. Minimum educational qualification for applying for GATE is given below for all applicants-
Educational Qualification: Candidates applying for the Gate 2019 should have:
- Bachelor Degree in related engineering and science stream (4 years after 10 + 2 or 3 years after diploma)
- Master’s degree in any branch of Mathematics / Science / Statistics / Computer applications or equivalent degree.
- International applicants holding a bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in related engineering or science stream.
- Bachelor / Master’s degree final year student also can apply for GATE 2019.
Age limit: There is no defined age range criteria for GATE applicants.
Application Fee: The application fee for the gate is Rs 1500 for the general category, whereas for reserved category and female candidates it is Rs 750. Application fee for centers outside India (Addis Ababa, Colombo, Dhaka, Kathmandu) is 50 US Dollars. There is a fee of US $ 100 as the examination center for Dubai and Singapore.
Pass Percentage: No minimum Passing Percentage required for GATE 2019 eligibility.

Gate 2019 Exam Centres
Indian Institute of Technology(IIT) Madras will be conducting the GATE 2018 has not published the official list of GATE 2019 examination centres. Candidates are able to access the examination centres of GATE 2019 when the official website updated by the authorities. GATE examination centres 2019 will issue the names of the cities wherever the examination are conducted.
There are 8 zonal centres for GATE 2019 and every zone has several examination centres. GATE examination are conducted in two hundred Indian and six foreign cities. What’s new in GATE 2019?
There are few Changes in GATE 2019, a change has started in the examination conducted by the Authority that after the application is submitted, it can not be changed/modified after the given date. Therefore, the candidates will have to ensure that all the details and supporting documents are correct and uploaded.If all is found correct then the gate application will be accepted otherwise the candidates will be notified of the defects.
Addition in GATE 2019
- GATE 2019 will introduce a brand new paper – Statistics (ST)
- There will be associate extended application date schedule with a late fee for candidates just in case they miss applying throughout the regular deadlines.
This improvement should be done within the prescribed time. Candidates should be quick to fix errors in the form before the deadline. Those who fail to recover their applications will be rejected and no communication will be made in this regard.
Candidates can check their form status, i.e. whether the authority has received the form or not. It also states that no improvement is required in the application form submitted by the candidate. Go to the site to check the status of the gate online application.
GATE 2019 Syllabus
There are total 24 Subjects in GATE 2019. Total questions will be 65 of 100 Marks. Students will get total 3 hours(180 Minutes) to complete the Paper.

GATE 2019 Paper Codes
GATE examination 2019 will be conducted for 24 papers. The candidates area unit requested to recollect the paper code of the doorway examination because these are needed whereas filling the applying kind or different examination processes.
Candidates must learn about the paper code of their choice, as this information is essential during making the application, as well as, during the examination. As the candidates are permitted to appear in ONLY ONE of the 24 papers of the GATE 2019, they should make their choice (of the paper).

GATE 2019 Exam Pattern
There will be Total 65 Questions in GATE 2019 Examination of 100 Marks. 70 Marks for technical questions, 15 Marks for General Aptitude and 15 Marks for engineering mathematics. Basically there are two types of questions in GATE exam 2019-

The Admit Card of GATE 2019 can be downloaded from GOAPS website only. A candidate should download his/her Admit Card from this web site. The GATE Admit Card would be accessible for transfer, tentatively from 4th Jan 2019.
Note: The Admit Cards won’t be sent to the candidates by post/e-mail. Candidates have to Carry GATE admit card 2019 along with the Original and Valid id Proof(Aadhar Card, Passport, Driving License etc.) of his/her.

GATE 2019 Answer Key
GATE is a Online Computer based test(CBT) so students dont have Question paper after. So GATE board Will release the Official Answer key for GATE 2019 along with all subjects question papers. Candidates will be able to verify the GATE Result 2019 according to the Answer key at the GOAPS website.
IIT Madras will release the GATE 2019 Official Answer key after the examnination in Feb 2019. Various Coaching Institutes like Made Easy, GATEForum, and Engineers Academy also will be release Answer for all Subjects after the examination.

GATE 2019 Result will be announced on the 16th March 2019 and will be available on the GOAPS Website. GATE 2019 score is valid for THREE YEARS from the date of announcement of the result.

GATE 2019 Scorecard
After the declaration of GATE Results, the qualified candidates can download their GATE 2019 Score Cards. The GATE 2019 scorecards can be downloaded from the 20th March 2019 to 31st May 2019 from the GOAPS website only. In case, a GATE qualified candidate requires the soft copy of his/her GATE Scorecard after 31 May 2019 and till 31 December 2019, should pay a fee of 500 (Rupees five hundred only) for obtaining the same.
Note: There is no provision for the issue of hard copies of the GATE Score Cards.
